Bloem Plaza was one of our most complicated installations to date. Apart from requiring complicated logistics this system required four different methods of mounting. Standing seam roof sheets, bespoke weighted ballast East/West on various concrete slabs (No penetration), bespoke elevated structures that were over various obstructions which were otherwise unusable areas as well as multiple carports. The carports in particular were designed with posts at the back of the parking bays to reduce the risk of damage. We installed all the kerb and safety signs to further ensure this. To our knowledge our design team has pulled off the only carport in the country to achieve such a large cantilever, supplied by Lumasol. This was installed for a listed property fund, Vukile Property, and won through a highly contested bid. We have since picked up additional work with Vukile which is a great indication of the experience we have.
