LOPAC — Ballito
143 kWp solar PV for a manufacturing site in Ballito.

- Solar PV
- 143 kWp
The project
LOPAC's system was designed around a specific outcome: meaningful, quantifiable cost reduction.
The brief
Cut electricity costs at a Ballito facility and reduce diesel use during grid outages.
What we built
A 143 kWp grid-tied, generator-integrated solar PV system, commissioned in February 2024.
The result
Solar now offsets 60% of the site's daytime energy consumption. During grid failures the solar system works alongside the generator, reducing diesel consumption by 20 to 30%.
