The project
SRT's load is dominated by heating equipment and industrial air-conditioning running around the clock, and solar now covers the majority of it.
The brief
Reduce electricity costs at a site with high, continuous heating and cooling loads.
What we built
An 81.8 kWp rooftop system, with the panels inclined to take advantage of the East-West roof apex and maximise output throughout the day.
The result
Monthly electricity costs have fallen by 60%.
