The project
On paper, 430 kWp is a modest installation. In reality, Lillies Quarter was one of the most technically demanding projects in Sunbird's portfolio.
The brief
Install solar across a site with many separate structures, while protecting the client's existing roof warranty.
What we built
A 430 kWp grid-tied system mounted across more than 15 separate structures, including bespoke carports, each with its own engineering challenge. Corrugated roof sheeting throughout the site ruled out standard fixing methods, so Sunbird developed a bespoke fixing solution.
The result
A formally signed-off waterproofing process was implemented to preserve the client's 30-year waterproof warranty.
