The project
Komani was Sunbird's second installation for Truda Foods Group, delivered with the same precision as the first under more demanding conditions.
The brief
The site presented real logistical challenges: remote coordination, tight timelines, and the need for a cost-effective solution that could not compromise on quality.
What we built
A fully integrated 870 kWp grid-tied solar PV system with generator integration, commissioned in April 2024.
The result
Delivered on schedule and on budget. Repeat clients are the truest measure of the work: Truda Foods came back because the first installation delivered what was promised, and has since added a third facility in Pretoria.
