The project
The Pretoria installation is Sunbird's third project for Truda Foods Group, after Pietermaritzburg and Komani, and a benchmark for what a mature client relationship produces.
The brief
A 930 kWp system for a food manufacturing facility, where scale and precision have to coexist and the pressure to deliver on time and within budget is very real.
What we built
A 930 kWp grid-tied solar PV system, commissioned in October 2025.
The result
Delivered on schedule and on budget, and performing as designed. Truda Foods is one of Sunbird's major repeat clients, with four installations across Pietermaritzburg, Pretoria and Komani.
