The project
Irene Village Mall was one of the most demanding environments Sunbird's team has worked in: 2,340 kWp installed while the mall was still being built around it.
The brief
Install a large rooftop and carport solar system while new sections of the mall, roofs included, were still under construction, alongside several other contractors.
What we built
A 2,340 kWp grid-tied system across the rooftops and ten separate carport structures. The scope included extensive work around rooftop obstructions, cat ladders, and purpose-built inverter stands and cages.
The result
A site like this demands meticulous planning, constant coordination and an uncompromising safety culture. The project was handed over on time.
