Description: Moruleng Mall is our fifth large-scale installation for this client. The mall lies close to the Pilanesberg, about two and a half hours from Johannesburg, and that distance made logistics the defining challenge. Our procurement and logistics managers kept materials, teams and timelines moving with precision.

A remote site, demanding logistics, and energised a month ahead of practical completion.

The project

Moruleng Mall is our fifth large-scale installation for this client. The mall lies close to the Pilanesberg, about two and a half hours from Johannesburg, and that distance made logistics the defining challenge. Our procurement and logistics managers kept materials, teams and timelines moving with precision.

The 1,300 kWp system required two tie-in points, each with purpose-built inverter cages, stands and protective bollards. We also installed a new bulk check meter and integrated our plant with the existing 1.2 MWp system, taking full control of the site's combined 2.5 MWp.

The site was energised a full month ahead of contractual practical completion, within budget.
