Within months of switch-on, the Kingsburgh system was already exceeding its production forecast.
The brief
Reduce both electricity and diesel costs at a shopping centre that relied on generators during outages.
What we built
A 335.7 kWp grid-tied, generator-integrated solar PV system, commissioned in December 2023.
The result
The system exceeded its production forecast within the first few months of operation and reached cashflow neutrality ahead of schedule. Phase 2 is in planning and will add further panels and a battery system to phase out generator dependency entirely.
