New Concept Mining (NCM)
Some projects you remember for what you built. This one you remember for what you overcame.
- Solar PV
- 628 kWp
- Commissioned
- February 2026
The project
NCM was one of the most demanding projects Sunbird has taken on: some projects you remember for what you built, this one for what was overcome.
The brief
Solar PV across four separate tie-in locations, with complex civils and constantly changing site conditions.
What we built
A 628 kWp grid-tied, multi-site system. Two of the tie-in points required purpose-engineered, fully cantilevered carport structures: the kind of civil and structural engineering that has to be seen in person to be appreciated.
The result
The system was commissioned in February 2026. NCM is proof that when conditions are at their most difficult, the right team does not slow down.
